Lagos Fashion Week has announced its 2026 season, taking place from October 28 to November 1 in Lagos under the theme CRAFTED: Heritage. Innovation. Circular Futures.

The season will open with a Welcome Party on October 28, followed by three days of runway shows from October 29–31 at the LagosFW Tents at the Federal Palace Hotel. The program will conclude with offsite shows on November 1.

At the center of the 2026 season is the idea of CRAFTED, which looks at the knowledge, skill and creative processes shaping African fashion. It brings together heritage making with contemporary design, innovation and new approaches to the future of the industry.

The campaign introduces this direction through a contemporary interpretation of the African studio portrait, drawing on a long tradition of documenting people, identity, style and culturally significant moments.

Photographed by Daniel Obasi, the campaign brings together a cast of models in a series of considered portraits that place fashion, styling, texture and composition at the center. Together, the images create a collective portrait of the 2026 season, reflecting the energy, individuality and visual language of contemporary African fashion.

The campaign extends the CRAFTED idea beyond clothing to the way fashion is made, presented and experienced. It considers the relationship between heritage and innovation, while drawing attention to the value of craft and material knowledge and the possibilities for a more circular fashion future.

As a platform for African fashion, Lagos Fashion Week continues to create space for designers and creatives building new perspectives around the industry. The 2026 season will bring together designers, models, buyers, media and industry professionals for a program of runway presentations, creative exchange and fashion experiences in Lagos.
